Dietetics

Dietetics is all about food, nutrition, and how what we eat affects our health and wellbeing. Dietitians are trained professionals who help people make healthy food choices that suit their body, lifestyle, and health needs.

They work with people of all ages to support good nutrition, manage health conditions, and build healthy habits.

What do dietitians do?

  • Help you understand what foods are good for your body

  • Create meal plans that match your health needs and goals

  • Support people with food allergies, diabetes, eating disorders, constipation and other health issues

  • Teach healthy eating habits for all ages

  • Work with children who are fussy eaters

  • Work with families, schools, and support teams to make food choices easier

Dietitians follow professional standards to make sure their advice is safe, respectful, and based on the latest research. Their goal is to help everyone feel strong, healthy, and confident about food.
