Emma, Dietitian (APD)
​
Emma studied at the University of Wollongong in NSW,
and completed her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics
degree in 2011. In addition to this, Emma has
completed her certificate 3 and 4 in fitness, the
Paediatric Nutrition Course at the Royal Children’s
Hospital in Melbourne and she is a certified fertility
dietitian.
Emma has gained experience from the University
College London Hospital, St Pancras Hospital and
St George’s Hospital’s in London, where she worked
mostly on the oncology, infectious diseases and aged care wards. Emma has also worked with young children and teenagers in after school programs, teaching nutrition classes, basic cooking skills and exercise classes.
For the past three and a half years, Emma has been working in private practice across Tasmania, seeing both adults and children. Emma has experience in chronic disease management and enteral feeding. Emma has a special interest in paediatrics and women’s health. Emma is particularly interested in supporting children and their families with restrictive eating and ways to optimise nutritional intake.
