Experience:
I have five years of occupational therapy experience across clinic, home, school, and community settings, working with clients presenting with a range of conditions, including Bachelor of occupational therapy (honours) ASD, ADHD, trauma, and multiple disabilities. I have a strong interest in working with complex families and collaborating with the various systems that support them. My approach focuses on engaging the entire family unit to enhance participation in daily
activities while fostering ongoing support and coping strategies. Additionally, I provide supervision to occupational therapists and therapy assistants, helping them develop their clinical skills.
What I love about my work:
I love supporting families in achieving a better quality of life through skill-building, adapting daily activities, and collaborating with other services. Seeing clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and appreciate their unique strengths is incredibly rewarding. I also value the opportunity to educate families, empowering them to better support both their children and themselves in their caregiving roles.
