Hi, I’m Maginnis

I recently moved to Tasmania from Brisbane- I’m here for the beautiful outdoors Tassie offers and the many adventures to be had! I graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (honours) from the University of Queensland and have worked for the past 2 years as a paediatric OT in Brisbane. I’ve also spent 7 years working as a disability support worker, which I loved doing. I especially enjoy working with children and their families to develop play skills, emotional regulation and engagement. I think OT is so special because we can support families to make the most of their everyday life, empower children to develop valuable skills, and have heaps of fun!
