Hi, I’m Wendy,

As a social worker, I have been privileged to work with people during times of change and challenge in their lives. From youth work to adults, families and groups.

 

I have worked in varied community settings and acute health; always with a passionate focus on identifying strengths and promoting participation and inclusion.

I look forward to working together with young people at Independent Kids around goal setting, relationships, work, school, life transitions and connection in communities.

Formerly from Victoria, we came for a holiday to Tasmania in 2013 and loved it so much that six months later we moved the family to Hobart! We share our home here with a busy mix of children and animals, including our regular stream of foster cats.
