Hi my name is Stratia,

 

I have worked at schools as a Teacher’s Assistant over the last 20 years and as an Education Support Specialist for the last 2 years. I also have been working as a support worker over the last 8 years with an adult living with Autism. 

 

I am highly motivated and passionate about differentiated learning for clients in schools. 

 

I have strong leadership skills, am enthusiastic, flexible and energetic. I always strive to do my best to ensure the students are well supported and their learning needs, strategies and goals are being met. I am continuing to broaden my experiences and skills as a Therapy Assistant at Independent Kids. I feel very blessed working as a Therapy Assistant as it is incredibly rewarding and I love supporting students reach their goals no matter how big or small they are. 

 

My favourite past time is spending time with my family and my grandchildren. I have 2 daughters and a son who have all left home and are now living their dreams. I love bushwalking, travelling and reading in the sun at the beach.
