Hi, my name is Teak,

I joined the team at Independent Kids mid-2020 in the role of Admin Assistant; what an amazing opportunity it’s turned out to be!

​

I’m inspired every day, working alongside a dynamic, passionate and creative team of therapists. It also means I get to see first-hand the positive difference made in the lives of so many families; the kids smiles light up my day and I love making a connection and getting to know them.

​

I've had a long career working across hospitality, a variety of customer service and account management roles within both private and government sectors, but an interest in allied health is something I’ve long held.

​

From personal experience, I know how valuable a friendly face (or voice on the phone) can be in the ups and downs of life and your family therapy journey.

​

Being at the forefront of Independent Kids, I always aim to be that warm, welcoming face to families and am always happy to help with any support or enquiry you may have.

​

Outside of Independent Kids I have the family life juggle, enjoy travelling - opening myself to new places and experiences, photography, wine, limbering up at kx pilates, regularly trying my hand at cake decorating and baking (I haven't had any complaints from my Independent Kids food testers yet!).
