Hi, my name is Klaira.
I completed my Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast and have since returned to my beautiful home state of Tasmania.
I began work at Independent Kids in early 2020. I have always been interested in supporting others to see their potential and build confidence in their own set of strengths.
I strive to work not only with my clients but their family to discover and reinforce their abilities, learn strategies and skills to use to build their independence, discover hope, have meaningful relationships and live fulfilling lives.
My special interests are sensory processing, anxiety, community health promotion, attachment and relationships, daily living skills and vocational support (school and work). Outside of work I enjoy travelling when I can, pottery, playing my guitar and piano, being at the beach and cooking yummy food for friends and family.
