Area of work:

Behaviour support for: Adult and youth, mental health, ABI; Developmental education

Experience:

I have worked in the disability sector for 25+ years in disability support, advocacy, vocational preparation, employment services, and Positive Behaviour Support. I have participated significantly in the evolution of the sector before and after the introduction of NDIS, and have extensive knowledge of the workings of the system and how it can be utilised to advantage a person with a disability.

What I love about my work:

I love to see positive change in participants I work with – to see improvements in quality of life, confidence, opportunity and identity that makes them an active participant in our community. Nothing better than bumping into someone years later to hear all that they have achieved and how their lives have moved forward!
