Hi, my name is Courtney.
I am a Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner with experience in mental health, disabilities and early intervention. She has completed a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) at Charles Sturt University and currently completing her Postgraduate at Monash University. Courtney is working towards becoming a Registered Psychologist and brings her expertise in both psychology and behaviour support together to provide support to clients and their families. She believes in a comprehensive approach to behaviour support and strives to include families, schools, workplaces and other allied health professionals.
Courtney has a passion for improving the lives of young people and working in the areas of disability, challenging behaviours, emotion regulation and neurological disorders. Courtney continues to educate others and looks to improve resources, particularly in rural and remote communities.
She has a strong interest in research and contributing to growing awareness and knowledge, particularly for children and their families through early intervention around disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disability (ID).
Outside of supporting clients in the Behaviour Support space, Courtney’s biggest passion is her family and two young children. If they aren’t out spending time exploring the beautiful nature our country has to offer, then they are out adventuring overseas (pre COVID). Courtney’s favourite place is to be sitting by the beach with a book or playing the piano with her daughter.
